Detachment: Trust, Love, and Letting Go

Right now, I’m watching a video or podcast about how to detach, and honestly, detachment is a total game-changer. I think the key insight is this: it’s great that we get to set our own story. We decide who we truly are. We shouldn’t let others or the things around us define us. Sure, those things can affect us, but they don’t get to define us. It’s about sticking to our priorities and our values, no matter what.

For me, detachment is all about trusting the universe—trusting that what belongs to me will naturally align with my life. What’s meant for me will always find its way back to me, without me needing to force anything. I don’t need to put myself in miserable situations, trying to hold onto something that isn’t right. If it’s meant for me, it won’t slip away. As long as I have love—strong, true love—not just for myself but for the universe and for those around me, I’m good. And that love has to be unconditional. I’m sharing love because it’s part of my identity, not because I’m sacrificing myself for it. That’s the real game-changer in understanding detachment.
